1. Introduction

GoldenKall provides Voco, an intelligent restaurant voice automation service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when restaurants and their customers use Voco.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate our service and improve the experience for restaurants and their callers.

  • Restaurant account information: business name, address, contact information, POS settings, menu details, operating hours, and billing information.
  • Call and reservation data: recorded calls, transcripts, caller phone numbers, reservation details, order requests, timestamps, and call metadata.
  • Customer data: customer names, phone numbers, order preferences, loyalty or regular guest indicators, and any information provided during a call.
  • Third-party integration data: data from connected services such as Google Calendar events, POS order and menu data, reservation systems, and analytics providers.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, feature usage, and cookies for site functionality and analytics.

3. How We Use Information

  • Process and route calls, capture orders, schedule reservations, and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Sync reservation and scheduling data with Google Calendar and other connected platforms.
  • Provide customer support, billing, and account management.
  • Improve service quality, speech recognition, and restaurant-specific automation through aggregated analytics.
  • Send operational alerts, order confirmations, reservation reminders, and administrative messages.

4. Call Recording and Consent

All calls handled by Voco may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, order accuracy, and system improvement. We provide notice at the beginning of each call and comply with applicable recording laws.

5. SMS and A2P Messaging

When you provide a phone number and opt in, we may send service-related SMS notifications, order updates, reservation reminders, and marketing messages.

  • Message frequency depends on your usage and preferences.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages.
  • Reply HELP for assistance or contact support.

Consent to receive SMS is not required to use the core restaurant service.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Voco may access and store information from third-party services you connect, including Google Calendar, POS systems, reservation platforms, and communication providers. We use this data only to provide the requested integrations and maintain the service.

7. Google API and Limited Use

For restaurants that connect Google Calendar, we access calendar event details and the primary email address for the authorized account. We comply with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google data for any purpose outside the service or share it with unauthorized third parties.

8. Information Sharing

  • With service providers that assist with hosting, analytics, payments, communication, and customer support.
  • When required by law, regulation, or court order.
  • To protect rights, safety, or property, including preventing fraud or security threats.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you request deletion, we will remove your data in accordance with our retention and deletion policies.

10. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to minimize risk.

11. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us at privacy@goldenkall.com. If you are a restaurant customer, please contact the restaurant directly for account-specific inquiries.

12. Children

GoldenKall does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
